We use Flash and H.264 for our web videos

Flash is one of the most universally-used video players on the Internet today. Most people have it on their PC and most people know how to work its controls. Therefore, we recommend that all web-based video is implemented in Flash.

A recent development of Flash is the player's ability to play video encoded in H.264 (from version 9.0.115 onwards). H.264 is the compression used for High Definition DVD. H.264-encoded video on the web delivers astounding quality and speed for relatively small file sizes.
